Job Description:
Soldering TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our team.
As a Soldering Technician, you will be responsible for hand soldering both through hole and SMT components to boards, as well as touch up and repair through hole and SMT solder joints.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about precision and has experience in soldering.
Responsibilities:
- Hand solder through hole and SMT components to boards- Touch up and repair through hole and SMT solder joints- Mechanical assembly on boards and finished products.
- Participate in weekly production improvement meetings with post wave, quality and engineering departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently- Inspect and test soldered connections to ensure quality standards are metRequirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in hand soldering both through hole and SMT components- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and J-STD-001 requirements for soldering- Knowledge of Metcal is a plus.
